Chunky Move and Ausdance Victoria in association with contemporarydance.com.au are delighted to announce MOVING ONE HUNDRED, a new dance work to be performed at Federation Square as part of the Australian Dance Awards Public Program on Saturday 6 June 2009

Over four Sunday afternoons in May, 100 members of the public will learn this dance, choreographed by Stephanie Lake and taught by five Chunky Move dancers who will also be performing on the day.

Are you a dance lover? Want to bust some exciting new moves? Are you over 16 years of age? Then you may be eligible to be a cast member. Participation is free, and there is no set level of dance experience required, only the commitment to attend four rehearsals and, of course, the performances. If you are interested, don’t delay, sign up now.

Rehearsals will be held at the Chunky Move studios in Sturt St Southbank and will be from 1-4pm on four Sundays: 10 May, 17 May, 24 May and 31 May. Please do not sign up unless you are available at all these times, as well as 11am-5pm Saturday 6 June for the performances.
